Ms.Chirag and Roopa Khan, UAE residents, married in 2017 after years of dating. Chirag worked as ground staff at Dubai airport and Roopa took a job as a receptionist at a local clinic. After their first child, Shreya, was born in 2019, they decided that Roopa would quit her job to stay home with their children.

But then 2020 hit. Due to the economic uncertainty and health risks, the decision was made by the UAE authorities to suspend all inbound and outbound passenger flights.

The airport had no choice but to lay off staff. Of course this was a massive shock to Chirag, but with a growing family and bills to pay, he needed to put all his effort into finding work.

Needless to say, the job market was extremely tough and he could not seem to find anything, regardless of how much he tried.

Despite the setbacks Chirag continued his search for work. Sometimes spending up to 18 hours a day chasing down potential jobs.

Meanwhile Roopa had to stay at home taking care of their children. Between changing diapers and taking care of the household she still had a lot of free time.

Then one afternoon a few weeks ago, she saw something that would change their lives forever.
